Protective cloth masks, how to guarantee optimal hygiene?

TheProbiotic Group team has developed a consumer product called EVAA+ Hygiene Spray in the past two weeks. This hygienic spray is beneficial for cloth masks (reusable), gloves and other textiles worn close to the body. Our solution is essentially based on a product already sold in pharmacies, EVAA+ Allergy Free which considerably reduces the risks of allergic reactions from a host.

The active ingredients of our products break down the lipid and protein elements of organic matter – specifically pollen, mite excrement and animal dander pheromones (found in animal hair). Our added biotechnology know-how causes a bio-increase – or bio-augmentation – that activates our microorganisms on mass and optimises the flora to provide adequate protection. This mechanical process stops colonisation by pathogenic (harmful) bacteria by reducing the essential organic matter needed for them to feed and proliferate. As for viruses, our researchers recently wrote an article on oursoapdemonstrating the process of virus decomposition through available scientific literature. The physicochemical properties of the molecules of a detergent or soap make it possible to deactivate a virus – including SARS CoV-2, which is responsible for the current pandemic. The detergent acts on the most sensitive part of the virus: its envelope or double lipid layer. This membrane is vulnerable to detergent because it is composed of lipids. The surfactants in our detergents and soap, dissolve the double lipid layer and deactivate the virus. Probiotics remove dirt and organic matter – including proteins, lipids, sugars, etc. – from surfaces to be decontaminated. A detergent or soap containing probiotics and enzymes has characteristics that increase the action of detergents (Tsiaprazi-Stamou et al., 2019).

EVAA+ Hygiene Spray is a hygienic spray with natural ingredients, certified and scientifically validated by various independent European organisations.

EVAA+ Hygiene Spray is not toxic to living organisms and is not harmful to the lungs. It is not a disinfectant – these can be harmful to the respiratory tract. We have obtained a toxicity and allergen report issued by a Belgian laboratory respecting the standards NF EN ISO 16000-9 and NF EN ISO 16000-11 (VOC) based on our Allergy Free product – the composition is identical. This report has been translated into German and English for the target markets. The safety data sheet is also available.
